This Month, Kassie will be telling a lesser known story that was solved because of DNA. In 1986 Sherri Rasmussen was murdered and a burglary was blamed. In 2009 a cold case detective ran the DNA attained at the 1986 autopsy and found that it belonged to a woman named Stephanie Lazarus. The twist, Lazarus was a police officer.
