Join Mark and the Classics Book Club as they discuss, “Elective Affinities” by Goethe. This story explores the passionate, destructive, and ultimately tragic consequences of spousal exchange and attraction between four people, using the metaphor of chemical reactions (or “elective affinities”) to describe human relationships.
