This Month, Kassie is telling the story of Paul Holes, a retired forensic detective who helped solve "The Golden State Killer." Join me at 6 pm on May 29th.

Pecantown is moving Story Time! Join us for a story at 3 pm during our Milk and Bookies each Wednesday. We have a milk and cookies combo and a new or classic story read by one of our book sellers. 

This month's story explores the world of I.C. Eason, dubbed King of the Dog People in the Big Thicket of East Texas, the history and culture of the Dog People, and their fight to save their way of life and the Thicket from Timber and Oil barons.  Described as living "100 miles from Houston and 100 years in the past," we'll explore a little known part of Texas life and geography that continues to be threatened today.
