Events for July 14, 2026

Join Tess and the Literary Book Club on July 14th to discuss, "Kin" by Tayari Jones.  Set against the backdrop of the Jim Crow South in the 1950s and 60s, the novel follows two "cradle friends"—Vernice ("Niecy") and Annie—who grow up next door to each other in the small, fictional rural town of Honeysuckle, Louisiana. Get a glass of wine and a baked good and meet with us at 6 pm.
