Beauty from Ashes Ministries meets every widow right where they are in their grief journey. We do this by offering a safe place for widows of all ages to connect with one another as they begin to discover what God can do with a heart that is His.

Patty Hearst is a newspaper heiress who was kidnapped in 1974 by the Symbionese Liberation Army, a domestic terrorist group. Her case gained international notoriety when she appeared to adopt the group’s radical ideology, changed her name to “Tania,” and was photographed participating in a bank robbery. After being convicted of armed robbery and serving time in prison, she was pardoned and has since lived a private life, working as an author and actress.
