This Month, Kassie will be telling a lesser known story that was solved because of DNA. In 1986 Sherri Rasmussen was murdered and a burglary was blamed. In 2009 a cold case detective ran the DNA attained at the 1986 autopsy and found that it belonged to a woman named Stephanie Lazarus. The twist, Lazarus was a police officer. Come hear a twisted love triangle that lead to a murderer walking free for more than 20 years.

September's feature is Champ d'Asile & Napoleon's Lost Treasure, which follows pirate Jean Lafitte and a group of French veterans of the Napoleonic Wars who sought to establish a military fort and operation in Spanish Texas with the intent to free the exiled and imprisoned Napoleon. Pirates, lost treasures, hurricanes and Jim Bowie make an appearance in the story!
